If you can’t explain it in 10 seconds or less, it’s too complicated
During my years as a chief executive, I encouraged ideas from my staff. But I had one condition. If I didn’t have a basic understanding within 10 seconds, it was too complicated. Simplify, then get back to me.
People (particularly busy people) have short attention spans, and they’re getting shorter by the day. You have a very small window to catch their attention. If you don’t pique their interest within 10 seconds, they’re going to tune you out. (Honestly, 10 seconds is probably generous.)
Here’s the 10-second version of what we do at Archer’s Bow Media:
• We develop a great marketing strategy for your organization.
• We get your marketing seen — a lot — by the people you want seeing it.
Of course, we can (and often do) talk for hours about the details of those two bullet points. But they’re just that — details. I just explained 85% of our business in 23 words.
Persistent, yet subtle, high-quality marketing builds top-of-mind awareness, which brings positive attention to your brand. This much is obvious. What is less obvious is how to keep your target customer’s attention once you have it.
Business consulting is one of the services we provide for our clients. Your success is our success, and your marketing strategies, from start to finish, should be just as unique as your organization.
We still have room to onboard a handful of organizations by the end of the year. Reach out if you’re ready to grow.
